Mary Ann Harris SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Mary Ann Bobo Harris, age 63, of 182 Loop Road, Spartanburg, SC, widow of Leon Theodore Brown, died Friday, June 11, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Harris was born in Birmingham, AL, March 31, 1947, a daughter of the late James Robert Bobo and Margaret Virginia McAbee Bobo. Mrs. Harris worked for Sam's Club in Spartanburg. She was an active member of Pentecostals of Spartanburg, where she was a Sunday school teacher, nursery worker, and did other various things in the church. Survivors are two sons, James E. Harris and wife Sheila, and Randy Scott Brown, all of Spartanburg; a brother, James Ray Bobo and wife Judy of Buffalo; a sister, Peggy Lee Queen and husband Robert of Buffalo; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harris was predeceased by a son, Timothy David Harris. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Union Memorial Gardens, 1720 Whitmire Hwy., Union, SC 29379, conducted by Rev. Larry W. Wilkes. The family will receive friends following the Graveside Service. Memorials maybe made to the Mary Ann Harris Memorial Fund, PO Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at their respective homes.
