BRANDON - Lucille Mary Chamberland Parker, 83, formerly of Brandon and Sudbury, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Bayfront Medical Center in Dade City, Fla. She was born in Clarendon April 27, 1930, the daughter of George and Anna (Baker) Kilburn. She graduated from Brandon High School in 1948 and then worked as a secretary at the Ayrshire Breeders Association for five years. On Sept. 16, 1953, she married Ernest Chamberland in Williamsburg, Va. Mr. Chamberland died in 1987. She owned and operated Chamberland's Sporting Goods in Brandon for over 35 years. Mrs. Parker was a member of Sudbury Ladies Circle, Marble Valley Camping Group and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon. She enjoyed arts and crafts, knitting and crocheting, as well as playing the piano and accordion. Survivors include her husband, Thomas W. Parker of Dade City, whom she married in Brandon Aug. 3, 1996; two sons, Albert Chamberland of Coventry, R.I., and Eugene Chamberland of Addison; a daughter, Dale Chamberland of Missoula, Mont.; two stepchildren, Roderick Parker of Lake Wales, Fla., and Janine Parker of Orwell; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, a step-great-great-grandson; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Maria Stone, in 2008 and three sisters. Marjorie Whitcomb, Ida and Geneva Ingalls. The funeral service will be held at a later date at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon, followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. There are no public calling hours.
