Williams, Lou AnnJuly 27, 1924 - March 27, 2011Lou Ann Williams, 86, of Sarasota, formerly of Tulsa, Okla. died March 27, 2011.Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Gulf Gate Chapel. Services will be noon Saturday at Incarnation Catholic Church. Survivors include daughters, Nancy William-Howell of Tucson, Ariz. and Lisa Pelletier of Edgewood, N.M.; sons Chris Rivers of San Francisco, Calif. and Utricht, Holland, Don of Livingston, Texas, and David of Siesta Key, and Stuart; and two grandchildren.Lou Ann was born Lou Ann Tibey in Oklahoma City, Okla. and was one of five siblings. She has been a resident of Sarasota the past 45 years. Lou Ann was a remarkable character who returned to school after 39 years as a homemaker and made a successful career in the banking industry in Sarasota. She was an accomplished golfer, seamstress, bridge player and basket weaver. She was an active member of the Catholic Church, both St. Patrick and Incarnation Catholic Churches in Sarasota. Active member of Sarasota Lighthouse for the Blind. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lighthouse of Manasota, 7318 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34243.
