AUGUSTA, Ga.- Miss Lorraine Williams, 72, entered into rest on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at Specialty Select Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Morningside Baptist Church. Rev. Don Tipton, Rev. Kevin Steele and Rev. Wally Hoyle will officiate, and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Miss Williams will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service time. Miss Williams was a member of Morningside Baptist Church, and was also a member of the Augusta Sewing Club since 1959. She had retired from King Mill after many years of service. She is survived by her brother, George F. Curtis, Jr.; her sister, Betty Jean Curtis; two aunts and numerous nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Kenneth and Lucille Williams. Pallbearers will be Rusty Gordon, Bob Mason, Brian Tucker, Bill Weir, Donnie Wren and David Allen Icenhour. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies Three Sunday School Class and the ladies from the Augusta Sewing Club.
