LOLA T. WILLIAMS, 88Real Estate Agent LAKELAND - Lola T. Williams, 88 of Lakeland, died Thursday, November 01, 2007 at Good Shepherd Hospice of Auburndale of heart failure. She was born September 16, 1919 in McMinnville, TN to Walter and Annie Clark Turner and moved to Polk County over fifty years ago. Lola was a home economics teacher, social worker and a real estate agent and was a member of the United Methodist Temple. She was previously named Lakeland's Business & Professional Women Club, Woman of the Year. She is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Williams and survived by her son, Monty Williams of Beaverton, OR; daughters, Janis Mason of Melbourne, FL, Lana Tabb of Ware Neck, VA, Janet Plum of Aurora, IL and Nancy Barton of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive. Memorial services will be held 10 00 am, Monday at United Methodist Temple. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to either Good Shepherd Hospice of Auburndale or to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home, Enterprise, FL. Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes, Dukes-Steen Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Her beautiful smile will be greatly missed.
