BAKER Linda Metzger Baker, age 57, of Derby, died suddenly Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at Griffin Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, Linda had been a resident of Derby for the past 10 years and formerly resided in Fairfield. Linda was previously employed in the accounts receivable department of Danzas AEI of Darien. Her beloved husband, Paul Baker Sr., predeceased her. Survivors include her devoted son, Paul Baker Jr.; daughter-in-law, Marie Baker of Milford; her mother, Henrietta Metzger of Bridgeport; two brothers, William Metzger of Fairfield and Gary Metzger of Southbury; five grandchildren, Robert, Garrett, Christine and Nathan Baker of Massauchetts, Leah Marie Baker of Milford; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 679 North Avenue, Bridgeport, with the Reverend William Buckley, pastor, officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Friends may greet the family Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the church.
