Lelia Mae Jordan, age 99, of Homewood died March 3, 2006.She was preceded in death by her husband, Turner Jordan; and parents, Lelia Pearl Abbott Lincoln and Arthur Lincoln.She is survived by sons, Arthur Forrest Jordan (Lillian) of Decatur and Jerry Jordan (Betty Sue) of Vestavia; four grandchildren, Arthur Forrest Jordan Jr., (Sandra) of Decatur, Celia Jordan Denney (Gordon) of Nashville, Suzanne Jordan Deriso (Phil) of Vestavia and David Jordan (Amanda) of Camden; seven great-grandchildren, Haley Jordan, Davis and Katherine Denney, Daniel Deriso, Hannah, Mandy and Nancy Jordan; and cousin, Joyce Ferris of Atlanta. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood, Bethany Sunday school class and Edgewood Garden Club. She enjoyed china painting, gardening and her family. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave. S.W., Birmingham, AL. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Wolf officiating. Pallbearers will be Forrest Jordan, David Jordan, Gordon Denney, Phil Deriso, Daniel Deriso and Davis Denney. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorials to Trinity Methodist Church or to the American Heart Association.
