Anniston - Funeral services for Lee Arthur "Ace" Smith, 81, will be on Friday, July 29, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Anniston Funeral Services with The Rev. Jeffrey C. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery. Ace passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011, at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Lummie Matthews Smith; children, Catherine (Lamor) Akles, LaConstance Kirksey, LaSharn Elston, Anetria Matthews, Jacqueline Matthews, Shelion Tolbert, LaDonna Matthews, Contrina Matthews, Anthony Kirksey and Antony Kirksey, all of Anniston; siblings, Beatrice Robinson and Tommie (Barbara) Smith, of San Jose, California; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Catherine Smith; sister, Annie Pearl Rudolph; brothers, Henry Smith and Willie Smith.
