MORROW, MRS. LINDA WINDHAM (THE HAPPY LADY) Age 56, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a faithful member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a member of the choir. Linda was an inspiration to many with her positive outlook, lively wit and laughter. She was a very gifted communicator and was motivated to spread her vision through her weekly quotes in The Birmingham Times. She was employed at EWTN, the Global Catholic Network. She was preceded in death by her father, Tobie Lee Windham, Sr.; her mother, Ethel Mae Windham; her sister, Sandra F. Windham; and her brother, Dennis W. Windham. Visitation is Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at noon at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1740 Cleburn Avenue SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. Burial ceremony will follow at G. W. Carver Cemetery. Those who will cherish her memory are: her husband, Kenneth Morrow, Sr.; her son, Kenneth Morrow, Jr.; her daughter, Kena Morrow of Upper Marlboro, MD; brothers, Tobie L. (Allison) Windham of Trussville, AL and Larry Bernard (Crystal) Windham of Atlanta, GA; several other relatives and friends. Smith & Gaston Southside directing.
