Katherine B. Davis, 80, Sarasota, died Jan. 24, 2007. She was born Jan. 26, 1926, in East St. Louis, Ill., and came to Sarasota six years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughters Peggy L. Knapp of Sarasota, Patricia Meier of Clearwater and Pamela Ricchio of Monee, Ill.; a son, Joseph Jr. of Cedar Lake, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, with services to follow, at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park.
