SMITH, KENNETH LEE - 91, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was a long time member of 2nd United Methodist Church, where he was active in the food ministry. Kenneth was a Master Mason and a Past Master, 32nd Degree at Lodge #244, and a Past Worthy Patron, Order of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by parents, Omer Lee and Ruth Smith; and wives, Marie S. and Catherine B. Smith. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla and Paul Davenport; grandchildren, Christy D. (John) Sullivan, Joseph J. (Jamie) Davenport, and Deanna D. (Chris) McLain; great-grandchildren, Natilea Moreland, and Cooper Davenport; and cousin, Billy Mullins. Family will receive friends Friday, September 12, 2014 from 5:00-7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home (3704 Chapman Hwy in South Knoxville). A service will follow at 7:00pm, with Reverend Tim Paul officiating, and will include a Masonic service by Masters Lodge 244. Family and friends will meet Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Highland Memorial Park (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville) for a 2:30pm graveside service.
