Juanita Johnson, age 63 resident of Dade City, Florida passed away peacefully Monday, September 6, 2010 at her residence terminating an extended illness. Born in 1947 in Uvalda, Georgia she was the daughter of Zion and Izella Sercey.She was the widow of the late Sylvester Johnson. She moved to Lake City, Florida at an early age, later in life she moved to Dade City, Florida. She was a quiet person who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.Survivors include her sister and brothers, Florence (Willie) McArthur, Lake City, Florida; Jeannie Walker, Jacksonville, Florida; Mae Swass, NY; Ruby Dean (Albert) Johnson; Ella Louise Jernigan, Jeannie Akiens, Lake City, Florida; Salvador Sercey, TN; James (Donna) Sercey, Panama City, Florida; Eddie Roy (Barbara) Jernigan, Lake City, Florida. Special nieces: Arneta (Roosevelt) Paige; Alice McArthur; Carolyn Jones, Aretha Sterling. Special nephews: Pastor Troupe (Leatha), Terrance Griffin. Special friends: Christine (Freddie) Jones, Patricia Floyd, Jeanie Mae (Bruh) Johnson; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.Funeral services for Juanita Johnson, will be held 1:00pm Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Salvation Holiness Church with Rev. Kenneth Troupe, Pastor, Officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Rest Cemetery.
