Mrs. Ioannidis was born April 26, 1941, in Spartanburg, SC, the daughter of Earl Zimmerman and Sybil McAllister Zimmerman. She graduated from Limestone College and received her B.S. Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Biology and Medical Technology. She retired as a Medical Technologist (ASCP). Mrs. Ioannidis was a member of Greek Orthodox Church of The Holy Trinity. She is survived by her husband of James Island, SC; one son: Kostas J. Ioannidis and his wife, Melissa of Edisto Island, SC; one brother: Donald E. Zimmerman and his wife Frankie of Roebuck, SC; three grandchildren: K.J., Eleni, and Kaitlyn.
