A native of Shelby County, she was the daughter of the late Roger C. and Cathryn Curtiss Alberson Sr. She was a homemaker and former co-owner of Wilson County Memorial Park. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mt. Juliet. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger C. Alberson Jr. Survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Kenneth W. Nelson Sr.; four children, Kathy (Derrick) Cole of Lebanon, Karan Nelson of Grand Prairie, TX, Karla (Bruce) Salsbury and Ken (Samantha) Nelson Jr. of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Mike (Lynn) Alberson of Memphis; several nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, where services are Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Billie Friel officiating. Active Pallbearers: Grandsons and Nephews. Honorary Pallbearers: Her Sunday School Class of First Baptist, Mt. Juliet and Wilson County Women's Investment Club. Interment Wilson County Memorial Park.
