Joseph "Mickey" Grimes Williams, age 58, died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at his residence. He was a native of Bulloch County and of the Baptist faith. He was a 1969 graduate of Williams James High School and held several jobs as a mechanic in and around Bulloch and Chatham counties. He was most recently a self-employed locksmith. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Alzenia Williams Mosley, Statesboro; his wife, Leslie Williams, Savannah; three daughters, Natasha Grimes, Claxton, Lakeita Grimes, Statesboro, and Brittany Williams, Savannah; two sons, Deundre "Tiger" Toby, Statesboro, and Brandon Williams, Savannah; a stepson, Braylon Williams, Savannah; two stepsisters, Patricia Allen and Teresa Mosley, both of Statesboro; a god sister, Janice Mosley, Statesboro; two stepbrothers, Billy (Priscilla) Mosley, Statesboro, and James Mosley, Vidalia; two aunts, Queen Ester Mincey and Mary Evelyn Byrd, both of Statesboro; two uncles, Claude Williams, Atlanta, and Thomas (Geraldine) Williams, Statesboro; two grandchildren, Olivia Grant, Claxton, and Deundre "Duke" Toby Jr., Statesboro; a special caring and devoted friend, Tracy Hart, Brooklet; a close cousin, Pauline McCreary; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Joseph "Mickey" Grimes Williams will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Julius Abraham, presiding, and the Rev. Donald Chavers, eulogist. Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Register. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. James R.
