Mr. John William Bryant, age 95, formerly of Chamblee, Ga., died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at his residence in Gillsville, Ga. A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with the Rev. Marshall Dale officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.John was born in DePue, Ill., on March 11, 1919, the son of the late Walter L. Bryant and Minnie (Steele) Bryant. He was World War II Navy veteran. He worked for Crane Packing Co. until his retirement. He was a member of Embry Hills UMC in Chamblee, Ga., for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63« years, Katherine (Williams) Bryant; son, Ted Bryant; and his granddaughter, Alicia Clack.John is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Earl Wilkins of Winterville, Jill and Charles Rylee of Gillsville; grandchildren, Marcia and Nate Morris, Scott and Ashley Couch, Christina Bryant, Johnathan Clack, Travis and Merideth Rylee, Kristy Jones, Jeff Wilkins and Justin Wilkins; great-grandchildren, Lillie Clack, Stella Couch, John Jones, Sady Jones, Hayden Rylee and Landon Carter.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Eagle Ranch, P.O.
