ObituaryJohn T. Clayton, age 85, of Brightwaters, Long Island, formerly of Ft. Myers died on January 22, 2005 at his residence.Mr. Clayton was a long time resident of Ft. Myers and a member of the Church of the Resurrection. He was very active with Toys for Tots and the newsletter for the local Marine Corps League. He was the husband of the late Theresa Clayton who died in 1995 and the father of the late Jon Clayton who died in 1981.He is survived by his children, Robert and Tiny Clayton and his grandchildren, Brittany, Taylor and Austin.A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd. (239) 936-0555. Burial will follow with military honors in the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
