McKENNA _ John "Earl". Born in St. Lawrence, PEI May 18, 1932, the 5th of 18 children to Rose and Edward McKenna. Passed away peacefully Friday, July 21, 2006 in Surrey, BC. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Irene, children John (Cathy), Patty (Gordie) Smith, Frank (Leanne), and Bob; grandchildren Shara (Selcuk) Sasmaz, Kayla, Dallas, Carlie and Brett; great-grandchildren Senol and Aliye. Also survived by siblings: Rosetta, Harold, Edward, Roy, Lloyd, Barbara, Grace, Roberta and Leonard. Special thanks to Staff and Caregivers at Zion Park Manor, and Dr. A. Willms for the wonderful care Earl received over the past five and a half years. Earl was well known as a tireless fundraiser for the MS Society and his Parish. Prayers will be offered at St. Matthew's R.C. Church, 16079 - 88th Ave., Surrey, BC on Friday, July 28, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations in Earl's memory may be made to the MS Society or St. Matthew's Parish.
