John-Henry-Stanton Bryant, born in 1958, spouse of Tammy-Gordon Bryant, son of Roy and Ruth-Stanton, father of Tyler John and Pearson Lee, died on July 4, 2001. Please consult the obituary here:
John Henry Stanton Bryant, of 111 Callahan Mountain Road, went home to his heavenly father July 4, 2001. Mr. Bryant was born Oct. 5, 1958, in Greenville County, to loving parents Roy and Ruth Stanton Bryant. He is also survived by a loving wife of 15 years, Tammy Gordon Bryant; and two precious sons, Tyler John Bryant and Pearson Lee Bryant, all of the home. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all who loved him and will miss his smile and easy going ways. Mr. Bryant was a 1976 graduate of Blue Ridge High School. He attended North Greenville College and was employed by Greenville Water System for 23 years. He was an active member of The Bear Hunters Association of Upstate South Carolina and a football coach for Blue Ridge Youth Association. He was a member of North Fork Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at North Fork Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Wilson, the Rev. Mitchell Thomas, Pastor Jim Reed and Michael Lindsey officiating. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hood, Carlton Hood, Ricky Finchum, Chris Jackson, Phillip Grumbles, Eugene Plumley, Glenn Tuttle and Whitey Grumbles. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at The Howze Mortuary. The family will be at the home. The Howze Mortuary, Funeral Directors, Travelers Rest, is in charge of arrangements.
