JOHN H. SWART HIGHLAND, IN John H. Swart, age 70, of Highland, IN went to be with his Lord on December 16, 2013. He was born on January 4, 1943. John is survived by five children: J. Michael (Jane), Mark (Julie), Robin (Kevin) Mills, Anneke (Aramando) Vela, Matthews (Coculana); five grandchildren: Ryne Kijurna, Nicholas and Courtney Swart, Ayana Vela, Vanessa and Zachary Swart. He was a beloved brother to Yvonne (Arie) Swets, Arlene (Art) Denhartog, Karen Zandstra, Jim (Cheryl), Cheryl (Kevin) Burton. Preceded in death by his parents: John Jr. and Sylvia Swart. John owned Swart Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of New Life Christian Reformed Church in Highland, IN. John was a member of American Legion Post 66 in Griffith, IN. Private burial will be Thursday December 19, 2013 at 10: 00 a.m. at Hope Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at New Life Christian Reformed Church in Highland, IN. Friends and family may visit Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Life Christian Reformed Church in Highland, IN.
