John G. Davis, 77, of Louisville, died Sunday at Franciscan Health Care. He was a native of Greenville, KY and a Marine veteran of World War II. He retired from General Electric Company, after 25 years of service. He was a member of Buechel United Methodist Church and Buechel Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his sons, B. Scott Davis of Maryville, TN and Mark G. Davis of Louisville; sisters, Barbara Davis and Lorine McDaniels; and two grandchildren. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Entombment: Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Monday.
