John Francis Kelly of Mt. Vernon died on January 8, 2001 at the Hudson Valley Hospital in Yorktown Heights. He is the Son of John and Veronica Sillery Kelly. He was a retired Police Lt. for the Mt. Vernon Police Department for 40 years retiring in 1991. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He married Jeanne Corrado on February 14, 1954 at St. Lucy's Church in Manhattan. He is survived by his wife, Jean as well as two sons John and Steven Kelly. He is the grandfather of Stephanie, Christopher, Kevin, Brian and James Kelly. He is the brother of Paul Kelly.
