Obituary of Jean-Isabella Stuart

WANLIN, Jean Isabella(nee Stuart) 2008-12-24 It is with great sadness that we announce that Jean Isabella Wanlin (nee Stuart) passed away on December 22nd, 2008 at St. Joseph‘s Hospital. Jean leaves to mourn her husband of sixty years Rene Wanlin of Thunder Bay; her cousin Frances Gillespie of Vancouver; and her three children and five grandchildren, daughter Margaret, Bruce and their son Michael of Thunder Bay; daughter Catherine, David and their daughters Allyson and Megan of Aurora; son Stuart, Beth and their daughters Hannah and Grace of Toronto. Jean was predeceased by her sister Margaret and will be sadly missed by her niece and nephews and their families as well as by her many friends. Jean was an active member of St. Paul‘s Anglican Church for over fifty years and was a tireless and steadfast volunteer in both St. Paul‘s and community efforts, such as Meals on Wheels where she volunteered for thirty five years. The family respectfully declines flowers and at Jean‘s request, asks that any memorial donations be sent to the Anglican Church Camp, c/o St. Paul‘s Anglican Church in her honour. Cremation has taken place and a service at St. Paul‘s to remember Jean‘s life of love and service will take place in January. Online condolences may be made through www.nwfainc.com
