Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Mrs. Janice M. Davis, 65, Gadsden, who died Tuesday, April 24, 2007. The Rev. Philip Elliott will officiate. Burial in Fairview Baptist Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge.She was a native and lifelong resident of Gadsden. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she taught for many years. She loved praising the Lord through song.She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Ruth Milling; and brother, Tim Milling.Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 46 years, Roger Davis; children, Robin (Jeff) Maise, Benji Davis and Joey (Catherine) Davis; grandchildren, Casey Maise, Scotti Malcom, Ashton Davis, Autumn and Amber Mayhall; great-grandson, Brady Maise; sisters, Linda (Perry) Gwinn and Deborah Smith; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be family and friends.Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Collier Butler Funeral Home.
