UntitledJAMES L. "JIM" WILLIAMS1939-2009James Williams, age 69 of Pensacola, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2009. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Morehead City, NC. He worked at NADEP of Pensacola and was later transferred to Cherry Point, NC where he retired from Civil Service. He enjoyed woodworking at his shop "J & J Woodworking". He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Dorothy Williams.Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Jerry M. Williams; children, David Williams (Kathleen), James A. Williams, Darlene Parks, Donna Parks, Teri Peck (John) and Darrin Williams; grandchildren, Paige & Michael Williams, Lacey & Scott Williams, Brittany, Taylor, Austin, Olivia Peck, and Darrin Williams II; brother, David Williams (Sue); numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Pkwy with Dr. Gregory McBride officiating. Interment will follow in Clopton Cemetery.The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel South from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9.
