Jerome Hodge, 77, beloved husband and father, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 18, 2002, after a prolonged illness. Born in Greenville County, he was the husband of Bernice Conner Hodge, and a son of the late Clyde W. and Annie Taylor Hodge. Mr. Hodge, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, retired from Stone Mfg. Co. and was a member of Parisview Baptist Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters, Mrs. Alonso (Marlene) Llano and Mrs. Mike (Judy) Fair, both of Greenville; grandchildren, Dana Tillotson, Meredith Edmonds and husband Mark, Sasha Llano and Tarik Llano; and great-grandchildren, Brooke Tillotson, Michael, McNeil and Madison Edmonds. He was predeceased by a brother, Clyde W. Hodge Jr. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at Parisview Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Ansel McGill, Pastor Robert T. Crawford and the Rev. Dr. Joe Farry officiating. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Gardens. The family is at the residence.
