ATKINSON James Henry, 79, of Paterson passed away on June 25, 2010.He is survived a son Lemuel Atkinson Childress (Sharon) of Greensboro, NC a grandson Justin, two Sisters, Anna Resper and Mary Brown of Washington, DC, his two favorite cousins, Delores and Barbara, and a host of nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Robert Goldie Atkinson and Katie Atkinson (nee Melvin), five sisters, Nancy Lewis, Ritha Saunders, Lorraine Taylor, Alice Hurley, and Katie Kellem, three brothers Howard, Walter, and Ernest Atkinson. James was an Army veteran where he served from 1951 to 1956 in the Korean War. James was a member the American Legion Post in Englewood and was part of their Color Guard.
