ObituaryJAMES H. JENNINGS IIICANDOR - James H. Jennings III, 79, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at Robert Packer Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, James H. Jennings, Jr. and Daisy Hunt Jennings; his sister, Janet Jennings; a stepmother, Alvena Surdam Jennings; and a brother, John Wells Jennings; half sister, Frances Mary Jennings. He is survived by a sister, Eleanor Jennings Myatt, Boynton Beach, FL; cousins, Lawrence and Joan (Beebe) Meddaugh, Candor, NY; and several second cousins, among them Priscilla Allen, New Milford, PA, Barbara Azeez, Croton, NY, Margaret Pannenborg, New Haven, CT, James Campbell, CA, Dr. Colin Campbell, Hanover, NH.James was born, January 15, 1927, in Candor, NY. He graduated from Binghamton Ridley Secretarial School in 1949, and from Ithaca College in 1953 with a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in music. For several years he worked as an organ builder in Ithaca, and has been the organist at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Candor for many years.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Main St., Candor. The Rev. Judith Upham and Rev. Philip Jordan will co-officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor. The family will receive friends Monday, December 18, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St, Candor.
