KELLY - Dr. James Francis Died Monday, September 26, 2011 after a short illness. He was the son of John T. and Catherine (Deneen) Kelly and the brother of Dr. John J. Kelly (Dorothy) of Warsaw. After graduating from Batavia High School in 1945, Dr. Kelly served two years in the U.S. Army. He entered Niagara University and graduated in 1951. He graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1955. He began his dental practice in LeRoy and moved to Albion to practice in 1959. He served on the dental staffs at the NYS Correctional Facilities in Attica and Albion. He was a member and past president of the Eighth District Dental Society and was a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Teresa (Marshall) and six children, Maureen, Katherine Lyons (Tom), Margaret, Kevin (Roseann), Daniel (Wendy) and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Anne, and his sister, Julia M. Kelly. The grandchildren are Amanda and Jonathan Lyons, Andrew, Michael and Matthew Kelly, and Molly and Erin Kelly. Visitation will be THURSDAY, September 29 at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am FRIDAY, September 30 at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church in Albion. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery with Military Honors.
