WILLIAMS, JAMES E. James E. (Jimmy) Williams, 70, of Adel, GA, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2008, at Memorial Hospital of Adel, GA. He was a Florida native. He was born in Ocala, FL on July 29, 1937, to the late Charles P. Williams, Sr. and Inez B. Williams. He moved to Williston with his family when he was nine years of age and lived there until 2006, at which time he moved to Adel, GA. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virue S. Williams; two sons, Jim (Jimbo) Williams (Linda), Williston, FL and Monty Williams (Bonnie), Adel, GA. He has two sisters, Betty Stipanovich (Ray), Williston and Joetta Smith (Ira) ofLakeland, FL, one brother, Charlie P. Williams (Shirley) of Chipley, FL. He has three grandchildren, Amber and Tripp, Adel, GA, and Angus of Williston, FL. He was preceded by two brothers, Lewis F. Williams and Bobby Williams, Mr. Williams was in the National Guard and called to active duty during the Vietnam conflict. He was a retired Electrical Superintendent and Business Agent for Local Union 1205 IBEW, Gainesville, FL. He was a past Grand Master of the Williston Masonic Lodge; a District Deputy Grand Master of the Thirteenth District under the Honorable Grand Master Ben Collins, a Christian and member of the First Baptist Church in Williston, FL. He enjoyed his family, grandchildren, fishing, hunting and was an avid gardener. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Knauff Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, FL. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, Williston, FL.
