NEW ALBANY McLAREN, DR. JAMES ALLISON, 76, was welcomed by angels into his eternal, heavenly home on Sunday, December 18, 2005. Dr. McLaren lived his life dedicated to God and in service to his fellow man. He leaves behind a legacy of faithful dedication to the students in his classroom, delivering his interpretation and simple application of the Bible. His memory will be forever honored in part by his children who always knew how much their father loved them. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Ramona Lee Smith; three loving children, Vickie Norvell of Henderson, TN, Jim McLaren of Alabama, and John McLaren of Fishersville, KY; six grandchildren; and one great - grandchild.
