John A. Sanchez, 50, of Beacon, died at home on Wednesday, August 16, 2006. He was an avid sportsman and a lifelong Hudson Valley resident. Born on May 24, 1956, he was the son of Agnes and John M. Sanchez of Ossining, NY. After studying at the School of Visual Arts, John excelled in his work as a cabinet maker and was recognized for the sensitivity and precision with which he performed his work. He is survived by his loving companion, Susan Scior, his mother Agnes, sisters Kathleen Kulkarni, Gabrielle Sanchez and brother Paul Sanchez. He will be missed by his nieces Aria Shahbodaghi, Elizabeth and Kristen Sanchez and his nephews Alex Kulkarni, William and Christopher Fugina. A Memorial to honor John will take place at Manitoga in Garrison, NY on September 9, 2006 at 3:30 PM.
