Jack A. Williams of Nineveh Jack A. Williams, 81, of Nineveh, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2007, surrounded by his family. Jack was predeceased by his first wife, Millicent; his parents, Charles and Edna Williams; and his sister, Mary Jean Fleming. He is survived by his wife, June; three daughters, Candace Beardsley, Endicott, Cynthia Robinson (Pastor K. Ben), Rome, Pa., Dawn Pflanz (Robert, Jr.), Binghamton; his stepdaughter, Terri Gray (Larry) of Hemet, Calif.; and stepson, John Tipler, Nineveh; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was a member of the United Methodist Churches and was a veteran of WWII. He retired from Northeastern Plate Glass and then later returned as a consultant, retiring again at the age of 80. He also served as a Pa. Game Warden for several years and a professional photographer, photographing many area weddings over the last 50 years. He was also known in the area as a Caller for Modern Western Square Dancing and was an avid bowler. A Funeral Service will be offered 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2007, at The Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, N.Y. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Great Bend, Pa., at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Shea Funeral Home, Monday, from 9 until 11:00 a.m., the time of service. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make memorial donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Hospice, 159 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, New York 13905, in memory of Jack A. Williams.
