Obituary of Irene-E. Boisvert


MANCHESTER - Irene E. (Bergeron) Boisvert, 85, of Manchester, died June 18, 2013, at Elliot Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Manchester on Nov. 18, 1927, to Henri and Juliette (Messier) Bergeron. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church and a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary and the Daughters of the Purple Heart. Irene lived her life dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren She was married to Benoit J. "Ben" Boisvert who died in 1995. She was also predeceased by her stepmother, Alphonsine (Delisle) Bergeron. The family includes five children, Russell Boisvert and his wife, Ruth, of Portland, Maine, Maureen Lascelles and her husband, Richard, of Litchfield, Douglas Boisvert of Manchester, Karen Boisvert of Concord and Steven Boisvert and his wife, Lynelle, of Bow; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. . SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Road and Sarto Street, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
