Henry Lee Smith, 63, died Aug. 7, 2009, at Fort Pierce Health Care. He was born in Indianola, Miss., and lived in Fort Pierce for 44 years. He was a laborer at the Tropicana Juice Plant. Survivors include wife, Beverly L. Smith of Fort Pierce; sons, Ralph Keith and Henry Jerome Smith, both of Fort Pierce; daughters, Ursla Williams of New Jersey and Andrea A. Smith of Fort Pierce; brothers, Charlie Smith of Nevada, C. W. Smith and Eddie Smith, both of Fort Pierce; sisters, Sandra Smith and Maple Smith, both of Fort Pierce and Mary Smith of St. Augustine; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Carrie Smith; son, Alvin E. Smith; brother, Jo Willie Smith; and sister, Helen Smith. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Aug. 21 and 9 to 10 a.m., Aug. 22 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 22 at Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Bishop Clarence Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
