Armstrong, Mrs. Hazel Ruth Rogers, age 70, a resident of Wetumpka, AL, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Graham and Dr. Robert Mullins officiating. The interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of Mt. Hebron West Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ferrell Armstrong; children, Cheryl (Patrick) Carmichael, Tim (Tammy) Armstrong, Leigh Armstrong, Stephen (Amy) Armstrong; siblings, Charles (Nelia) Rogers, Roger (Roseann) Corley, Joann (Glenn) Dean; grandchildren, Brock (Jill) Armstrong, Alan Carmichael, Erica Armstrong, Morgan Smith, Cash Armstrong and Hailey Armstrong. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorials to Baptist Hospice, 301 Interstate Park, Montgomery, AL 36109 or Mt. Hebron West Baptist Church Building Fund, 150 Mt. Hebron Road, Elmore, AL 36025.
