COHN--Howard, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2011, at age 88. A World War II veteran (Pacific theater), Howard was an accomplished writer and editor who worked at Collier's, Pageant, and True magazines before joining McGraw-Hill in 1968, where he spent the next 19 years primarily as editor-in-chief of Medical World News and Graduating Engineer. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Regina (Jean), sons Steven and Robert, daughters-in-law Joanna and Susan, and grandchildren Danielle, Corey, Mikael, Evan, Adam, and Aliyah. Funeral service will be Sunday, May 15, at 12 noon at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 21 West Broad Street, Mount Vernon, NY.
