The funeral for Gregory Don Williams will be Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev. Greg Woodall and the Rev. Tommy Heaps will officiate. Burial will follow in Harvey Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.Greg, age 38, of Rogersville, went home to be with his Lord on Aug. 12, 2004, at Huntsville Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Clay Williams.He was a graduate of Lauderdale County High School, a member of New Mount Bethel United Methodist Church and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 147. He was employed by Domco and Sam's Club, Florence. He was an active member of his community who loved to coach and support the youth sports activities in Rogersville.Greg is survived by his daughters, Jessica Nicole Williams and Emily Beth Williams, Rogersville; mother, Doris Williams Bradley and stepfather, Willie A. Bradley, Rogersville; brother, Steven Clay Williams and wife, Penny, Rogersville; sister, Tammy Bedingfield and husband, Tad, Rogersville; nieces, Ashley DiJon Williams and Heather Nicole Bedingfield, both of Rogersville; nephews, Wesley Paul Bedingfield and wife, Shonda, Rogersville, and Justin Lee Bedingfield and wife, Mandy, Athens; great-niece, Kathryn Grace Bedingfield, Rogersville.Pallbearers will be Ken Garner, Gary Greg was loved by everyone who knew him for his loving, kind and caring heart. Our family knows that our loss is heaven's gain. He will forever be in our hearts.
