Gloria Williams ("Sweet Pea"), age 62, formerly of New Rochelle, died January 21, 2001 at Moses H. Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC. She was a retired employee of Bank of New York in New Rochelle. She is survived by her devoted husband, Wilbert ("Pete") Williams of Greensboro, former employee of General Motors in Tarrytown, NY; her mother, Retha D. Hill of Boston, MA; a daughter, a son, 3 stepsons; several sisters, brothers; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service was held Friday, January 26, in Greensboro, followed by cremation.
