GERTRUDE L. WILLIAMSformerly of BinghamtonGertrude L. Williams, 83, went to be in the arms of the Lord on April 25, 2001 at the Chenango Nursing Home in Norwich. Gert was a former resident of Binghamton and for many years resided in Arcadia, Fla. and most recently Port Charlotte, Fla. She is survived by her son, Donald Bouton, New Berlin, N.Y.; and granddaughter, Sheila Buckland, Pittsburgh, Pa.; and several other relatives. Gert was predeceased by her husband, Bert Williams; daughter, Joan Buckland; and Grandson, Gary Buckland. She was a former member of Conklin Forks United Methodist Church and a retiree from the Binghamton Physciatric Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 29 at 3 p.m. at theWm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson with the Rev. Betty Reilly officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until service time.
