(Veteran Royal Canadian Navy WWII) Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke General Hospital on Saturday, October 18, 2003 in his 82nd year. George McIntyre of 2 Crandall St., Pembroke, beloved husband of Mae McIntyre (nee Leach). Dear father of Bonnie Sewter (husband Bill), Kingston and Dixie O'Reilly (husband Jonathan), Brockville. Grandfather to Troy and Chad Sewter, Michael and Matthew O'Reilly. Son of the late Leonard and Hannah McIntyre (nee Burns). Brother of Luella Burwell, Pembroke and Betty Hammond, California, U.S.A. Predeceased by sisters, Laura McCormack and Jessie Yuke and brother Burns McIntyre. Survived by sister-in-law Marjorie McIntyre; brother-in-law Ivan Yuke, both of Pembroke, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhamêmer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 1:45 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Pembroke on Tuesday, October 21, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery. (As an expression of sympathy donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Restoration Fund of Holy Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated). Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72 Pembroke are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. for a service.
