DONOVAN, George E. September 27, 1913 - March 8, 2011 George passed away peacefully with loving wife Michelle at his side. Predeceased by Odette; wife of 60 years. George is survived and will be greatly missed by son Clifford (Judith) and Terry (Elaine) and grandchildren: Kelly, Terry (Kathy), Sandra (Brian), Casey and Lindsey as well as many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother John: sisters Mary (Stan) Conners and Dora Harrison. George is survived by siblings: Alice Helter, Betty Chidwick, Charlie Donovan, and extended family: Evi Donovan and Al Harrison. Special thanks to Rachel Bigata, Coca Pavel, Luke Plesa, Roger (Elaine) and Thierry Laroche, Linda McMillan, and Dr. Hatlelid. George accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and received baptism at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church. A Representative of the Gideon Society will be accepting donations on behalf of the Donovan Family. Always ready with a smile and song, George will be dearly missed by his family, many nieces, nephews and friends. Interment to be held at Ocean View Memorial Park. Memorial Service Saturday, March 19, 2011 (11am) at Maple Ridge Baptist Church, 22155 Lougheed Hwy. Garden Hill Funeral Services, Maple Ridge, B.C 604-463-8161
