Mrs. Francis Lambert Crawford - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Francis L. Crawford, 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 26, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a native of Riceboro, GA and lived in Savannah many years. Francis Crawford enjoyed a full life and was a loving wife, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, and great- grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a mother for the community and relatives. In the latter years of her life she enjoyed traveling needlework, and preparing fabulous meals for her family. She was a member of Connors Temple Baptist Church where she served on the Deaconess Board, sang in the #2 Choir, and the served on the Missionary Board. She was a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband; Jonathan Crawford. Survivors are three daughters; Shirley (Ashley) Johnson, Jeraldine Hamilton of Savannah, GA, Gail Faye Miller of Ridgeland, SC, two sons; Johnny Crawford of Atlanta, GA, Robert Lambert of Richmond Hill, GA, two brothers; Abraham Lambert of Riceboro, GA, Isreal Lambert of Miami, FL, two sisters; Birdie Stevens of Atlanta, GA, Ruth (James) Singleton of Savannah, GA, three sisters-in-law; Katie Polite of Midway, GA, Margaret Greeley of Atlanta, GA, Irie Lambert of Riceboro, GA, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
