<!-- FH = BRETT FUNERAL HOME --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->KELLY, Francis Gerard "Frank", died on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at home in St. Petersburg, with his partner, Richard Ahlfeld, at his side. Born in New York City on Feb. 1, 1961 to Alfred and Margaret Kelly, he grew up in Manal-apan, NJ, graduated Manal-apan High School, 1979, cum laude Montclair State College, 1983, and an MS in Education, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, 1987. He spent 20 years as a YMCA executive, first as Assistant Executive Director at Camp Speers Eljabar, Dingmans Ferry, PA (1987-1995), and twelve years as Executive Director of Fairview Lake YMCA Camps in Stillwater, NJ. He and Richard moved to Historic Kenwood in St. Petersburg in 2007, where his smile, valor, and good humor earned the affection and admiration of all. They traveled extensively in recent years. Frank is also survived by his stepmother, Grace Kelly, Toms River, NJ; sisters, Joanne Kelly Corcoran (Michael, nieces, Megan and Jennifer), Alpha-retta, GA and Geralyn Kelly, Winston-Salem, NC; Richard's daughter, Laura Lang; and grandson, Logan Lang, Venice; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Interment will be in New Jersey at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Frank requested that donations can be made to any charity for the benefit of children.
