Family-Placed Funeral Notice MARTHA McCANTS SMITH At the age of 71, Martha Smith of West Palm Beach passed away Wednesday, January 14 in the presence of her husband Samuel Smith and daughters, Toni Parker and Charlotte Roberts. She was married to Samuel Smith 50 years, and has lived her entire life in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is survived by four grandchildren, Eric Parker, Samuel Roberts, Donald Roberts and Blaine Roberts. Her surviving sister, Mary McCants Schratt, brothers Jackson McCants and Lary McCants along with many nieces, nephews and cousins will fondly remember Martha. She has been a hairdresser for over 55 years and has many customers who will miss her greatly. A Memorial service will be held at St. John FisherÕs Catholic Church, 4001 North Shore Drive, West Palm Beach on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 9:30 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice of the Palm Beaches.
