WILLIAMS, FLORENCE H., 86, of Winter Park, Fla., passed away on August 21, 2002. Florence was born February 18, 1916 in Mooreland, Ohio. She graduated from Orlando High School in 1933 and attended Ohio State University graduating with a degree in Economics. She was a high school teacher (teaching general business and economics) in Eaton, Ohio. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Williams, M.D. Surviving are three sons, Charles H. Williams, M.D. and Karen Williams of Orlando, Joseph H. Williams, D.D.S. and Patricia Williams of Ohio, and James R. Williams, J.D. and Sharon Williams of Michigan. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs Williams was an active member of Eastern Star for many years. She also ran the business office of her husband's medical practice and was active in community affairs. Dr. & Mrs. Williams owned an island in the Florida Keys, loved northern Michigan, traveled extensively and Florence was an avid blackjack player and not a euchre loser. She was loved by many friends and neighbors and will be missed dearly. She is a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. The family will be receiving friends at the Goldenrod Chapel of Baldwin-Fairchild on Sunday, August 25th, between the hours of 6-8PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 26th at 4PM at Asbury United Methodist Church with Reverend Paul J. Dickinson officiating.
