Cox; brothers, Orville and Robert Cox; step-brother, Edward Bass; sisters, Lillian Laitenberger, Bertha Dawson, Ruby Bates and Eva Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Lynn (Dan) Churchman; son, Timothy E. Cox; sisters, Roberta Goad, Betty Tidwell; grandchildren, Nick, Brandon and Jason Hurst, Jill Stewart, Kyle Cox; 11 great-grandchildren. Mr. Cox was a member of IBEW Local #429 for more than 60 years and also a member of the Jere Baxter Masonic Lodge of Nashville. The family will receive friends from 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday (today) and 12 - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the funeral home, with Brother Mike Mayo officiating. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
