DAVIS, Erna Adeline It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved Mom and Nana's passing on June 3rd, 2011 in Vancouver General Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 19th, 1918, Erna came to Vancouver with her family in 1924. Predeceased by her devoted husband of 34 years, Pete, her brother, Charlie and her sister Caroline. She is survived by her loving daughter Anne and son-in-law Rick, beloved grandsons Jeff (Claire) and Dan (Naomi), her sister Barbara, sister-in-law Caroline, and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the ACE unit at VGH for all of their care. Also, many thanks to Erna's devoted friends in the Lutheran Manor. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 11th, 2011 at Spirit of Life Lutheran Church, 375 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, you may wish to make a donation in Erna's name to Spirit of Life Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Canadian Lutheran World Relief.
