Pillsworth, Ellen M. TROY Ellen M. Pillsworth, 76, of Troy, passed into eternal rest on Friday, June 20, 2014, at Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Ellen was born in Troy and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine Panza Pillsworth . Ellen retired from CHD where she had been employed in the accounting department. She had also worked at RPI, the Edison Club, HVCC, Page Airways and Environment 1. She was a communicant of St. Michael The Archangel Church in Troy. Ellen loved life, although she had many medical conditions that prevented her from doing the things she loved, she always tried and never complained. Ellen is the beloved sister to Elia J. Gori and the beloved aunt to Elia Marie (Joe) Coonan and Rosemary (Jeff ) Tymeson. Beloved great-aunt to Jordan, Nick and Grace, and special Godmother to Joe Panza. Ellen also had a special place in her heart for her first cousins, Pat (Jeff) Ellis and Maria (Mickey) Luciano, as well as many other family members, dear friends and co-workers, especially John Gori. The funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Ellen will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 10 a.m., at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Williams Road in Troy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
