MUNRO, Elizabeth (Betty) McKenzie (nee Campbell) July 13, 1921 ~ September 29, 2008 On Monday, September 29, 2008 surrounded by the love of her family, Betty passed away. Elizabeth McKenzie Campbell was born in Argylshire, Scotland. She was predeceased by her loving husband Neil, three brothers Neil, Colin, David and one sister Janet Mess. Betty will be sadly missed by her son, Rod Munro (Dorothy), daughter, Janette Witt (George), her five grandchildren, Robin Fisher, Greg Witt (Monique), Jennifer Bruce (Devin), Andrew Munro, Ian Munro and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie Fisher, Kyler Witt and many dear friends. Betty was a faithful member of Ritchie United Church for many years, her love of music saw her directing and singing both in her church choir and in the SEESA Melody singers where she was also a member for many years. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Ritchie United Church, 9624-74th Avenue, Edmonton. Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium 440-2999.
